Businessweek: beware Baltimore business BlueHippo.

I read the entire article and it definitely explains the nature of Baltimore today. Working poor. That's what separates the working from the homeless. And for the companies building businesses from people's bad chances is sickening.

Gee, pardon me for not feeling sorry for her. If she had one kid I could understand, but she got knocked up four times? Sounds like she has nobody to blame for her situation but herself.

I was approached by that company a few years ago for a job as a bankruptcy paralegal. I did some research on it (anything named "Blue hippo" raised some red flags in my mind) After reading a few choice posts on the BBB board, I cancelled the interview immediately. Shady business practices that take advantage of the poor are not my game.
