I really wish they would do away with welfare. That has to be one of the most abused government systems, especially in good 'ol Bodymore!
No kidding. I don't mind the government providing TEMPORARY assistance to people who fall on hard times, but the current system is out of control.
Here is a prime example of why I hate lawyers. John Allen Muhammed (the DC sniper) wants to drop his appeals, but his slimeball lawyers won't let him! I bet those assholes delude themselves into thinking that they're doing something noble or defending the constitution or something like that.
So does Baltimore have a teen curfew? I think there have been in the past, but I don't know if one is still in existence. I don't even know if they're enforceable or effective. I just know there were 30-40 teenagers outside my house just now and some sort of altercation going on and it took at least 4 police cars and 30 minutes to get it disbursed. Actually I think there's still some out there.

There is a curfew, but I don't know how it's enforced. Police probably just truck the kids back home.
Glad to see WJZ is reporting in dialect! I've noticed that the NYT has started to do that more too. It's more accurate (and entertaining)!
The curfew is meaningless as far as adolescents on the streets at nighttime are concerned. The officer is just supposed to take their names and order them home, then write a brief report. Guess how many give false names. I don't think any officers nowadays do anything at night with it. And it only applies to juvies under 16.
Businesses can be fined, however, for repeated violations of allowing the brats on their premises late at night or during school hours. And in recent years, the police have established truancy patrols to round up truants and take them to a center where they're supposed to get "services". Of course, all you gotta say is you're 16 and you dropped out of school.
Dawn Shipley was a junkie and a prostitute. Check out her criminal file if you don't believe me. The photo of her was about 10 years ago when she danced on the block. Her last CDS charge was just last August.
