Sleazy and Shameless!
Adam Meister blogs on an ethics complaint against Councilwoman Rikki Spector. A week ago, Spector cast the deciding vote in favor of HarborView's developer in favor of their controversial water-blocking tower-building plan. Turns out, not only does Spector not live in the Northeast district that she supposedly represents, but she's shacked up with her boyfriend at the HarborView condos in a one-bedroom unit that she's the right to live in until she dies, at no charge!

Police and Investigators from the State Prosecutor's Office are at Mayor Sheila Dixon's house. So did they have a search warrant, a subpoena or did they raid Sheila Dees house to prevent records from being destroyed ? I guess it all depends on the spin.

According to the story:
"Agents from the office and Maryland State Police began executing a search warrant at about 6:30 a.m."
It's odd that Dixon has been under investigation by the state prosecutor's office for so long, but we've never heard a peep from the US Attorney about her. The Feds seem to get the vast majority of political corruption cases, and I can't believe they'd pass up a juicy target like Sheila Dixon.
