What the who?!
City voters, have you gotten your "Official 2010 Primary Sample Ballot" in the mail yet? Because early voting starts in 12 days and I have no idea who anyone is besides the prospective State's Attorneys and the Conaways, and the sample ballot looks nothing like the Web site. Who is Neil R. Bernstein? Who are these people running for judge of the orphan's court?!

I think it is fine to vote for the positions that you care about, like State's Attorney, and not vote for those positions in which you have no interest. I think that I might skew results if I vote for candidates that I know nothing about so I would rather leave those positions decided by people who are invested in the outcome. Do you agree? Or should we learn everything we can and vote in each box?
It seems like we should at least intend to try to learn, as taxpaying citizens and all... An effective sheriff would be nice, any suggestions?
Yeah, let's put emphasis on EFFECTIVE. I've said it often, and I'll say it again, not only do most in Baltimore not even aware there is a Sheriff. Should he walk right past in front you, you'd have no clue you just saw the Sheriff Of Baltimore. And to think, he's a 20 year incumbent. Go figure!!!
