The Baltimore Spectator reports the city's 46th homicide, Marty Williams Jr., 20-something. This is apparently the murder on Maisel St. the police Tweeted about. ps. be forewarned, this video takes a very long time to load.
Opening arguments begin today in the trial of Patrick Byers and his three fellow thugs. Apparently Stuart Simms has joined Byers' defense team. As if I needed another reason to dislike the guy.
I saw them fishing this guy out by the Living Classrooms pier yesterday afternoon. It took them at least a couple of hours to haul him out, I guess they were worried the body would fall apart if they weren't careful. Yuck.
Whoops, I made a mistake in my first post. Apparently two of Byers' co-defendants have reached plea deals, so only Frank Goodman will be going on trial with him.
