Thanks 'non- A now-former corrections officer and two inmates are off the hook for the stabbing of Ronald Scott, on account of Scott being stabbed to death by someone else. According to charging documents, the former correctional officer, Sherman Lawrence, 21, arranged Scott's first stabbing at the Detention Center.

A Howard County 16-year-old was arrested for setting up a moonshine still that produced two teaspoons of whiskey.

WTF? He was caught during a 'stakeout' -- don't the freakin cops have something better to do than go after a kid making 2 teaspoons of whiskey? They may have been staking him out for over a week since they got him at the 1st use. Aholes.

OK, so he's not Capone, but from a health perspective, poorly prepared corn mash can yield methyl, rather than ethyl, alcohol. Its metabolic byproducts, formic acid and formaldehyde, can blind (or poison) whoever drinks it. The kid could be a menace without so intending by sharing the cool brew with his buddies.
