A Catonsville special-ed student, Steven Andrew Cearfoss, 17, and his adult minder Anthony Vernon Creek, 25 (who was assigned by the school to keep the boy out of trouble), have been arrested for illegal handgun posession and other felonies related to a burglary at the boy's grandfather's house. Turns out that Creek was convicted in 1999 of armed robbery, assault and the use of a handgun during a felony.

Two Baltimoreans, Kim M. Douglas and Darryl Edward Lomax, are in jail in PA for trying to steal a safe from a turnpike service station.
