Federal prosecutors decided not to seek the death penalty against four members of the Supreme Team.
The trial of Andre Broadway, 47, is scheduled to begin tomorrow before Judge Allen Schwait. Court documents allege that on or about August 2, 2005 Broadway sexually assaulted and abused a 14-year-old. Documents also allege that on or about September 24, 2005 Broadway threatened the caretaker of the adolescent, leaving several threatening messages on "his/her" (I guess "his/her" identity is a secret) answering machine.
Last week's murder victim, Victor Richards, was to be a witness in the murder trial of Kevin Garnett, Tavon and Stephen Williams, accused of killing Theodore Ross. This week the three were acquitted.

Have you heard anything about a crime at the Dunkin Donuts on St Paul between Lombard and Baltimore streets? Last night my partner and I saw a plainclothes police officer run toward the Dunkin Donuts with his gun drawn. As a slew of other police arrived he ducked to the side of the building and came out with his gun ready to shoot. We had to move with the traffic and are wondering what was going on.
Has anyone heard about a shooting on the 3100 block of E Baltimore St that occurred Wed 4/5?
So, 'splain me how the following article,
http://www.thewbalchannel.com/news/8513147/detail.html
shouldn't suggest that Maryland law is comparatively too lenient? I know loysa career criminals who have migrated here from other, tougher, states for this reason.
I guess I just need to move to a place which shares the values my parents taught me. Baltimore AIN'T it.
lotsa, that is
hahaha dunk'n donuts
1. No, but I don't typically hear of anything until two or three days after the fact, because I generally don't do first-source reporting. I would love to but a). I have a real job and have to make a living and b). every time I've tried to get information from the police department I've gotten nowhere.
and 2. ..'splain? ain't? Doggone?
Galt you've been watching too much Brokeback Mountain.
Not Brokeback. 'Splain is from Desi Arnaz ("Ricky"), Ain't is probably a bit o' Brooklyn, and Doggone is all owing to Otis Rolley.
Baltimore Crime, I wish I could quit you.
