I've spoken with BCPD public affairs and they have confirmed that contrary to the indications in the 8/30/06 column of Murder Ink, the shooting deaths of Ryan Teel and Rodtinae Jones as well as the nonfatal shooting of a third boy on Ilchester Avenue 8/14/06 were not police-involved. The department considers them murders. So should we.
