February 12

A Baltimore City jury convicted Paul Spriggs, 23 of attempted second degree murder, first degree assault and handgun counts on Friday. Attempted second-degree murder carries a maximum prison term of 30 years. Judge Alfred Nance scheduled sentencing for February 16. The report:
In the early morning hours of March 25, 2006 Spriggs arrived in the 1000 block of Cameron Avenue in a vehicle. Upon arrival, he exited and approached the victim, asking "where’s the green?" The victim started running and Spriggs fired at least nine shots – striking the victim four times. Spriggs then ran back to his car and fled the scene. An officer in the area heard the shots and was able to pull the vehicle over in the immediate area. A .38 caliber handgun was recovered from Spriggs' person. Assistant State's Attorney David M. Grzechowiak [Grr Shizh O wee ack?] of the Firearms Investigation Violence Enforcement (FIVE) Division prosecuted this case.

Four victims were shot, chased by police from Club International on West Baltimore Street. One may be dead [34?]

Murder 32 was ID'd as Dwight Evans, 32, and an unidentified man [33] was killed in the 1800 block of W. Baltimore St. early Sunday morning. (That's six blocks and 20 hours from the quadruple shooting at Club International.)

County police shot and killed an armed man while attempting to serve a warrant to the suspected murderer of Joseph Francis Hoffman, 51, found dead on Woodwell Road in Dundalk last Saturday (Feb 10).

Fox45 Reports Corey McMillion is up for trial for killing three people in a Remington half way house with another. He's already serving a life sentence for first degree murder and he once escaped from Mercy Hospital while in custody. This guy has been desribed as an "enforcer" and I've heard he's killed (or allegedly killed 8 people). Its sad that even with him off the streets there's others to take his place.

I've had problems getting everything to line up right on every browser. I know on PCs the sidebar sometimes comes at the end (probably why it takes people a long time to discover new polls. Hey PC users, there's a new poll)

I have to go back and count again. The man behind the church = Dwight Evans, yes? Who are we missing?

Oh no, "someone" was fiddling with my code!
You can't link to Fox stories because Sinclair = retarded Republican cheapskates who can't hire a 15-year-old to build a site.

Meanwhile, the City Council is discussing the construction of a statue at Pimlico to honor Barbaro:

07-0253R

A Salute to Barbaro - A Statue in His Honor

FOR the purpose of requesting that a statue of Barbaro be erected near the Pimlico Race Track, in honor of his achievements as a race horse and for being a model to us all by showing that we should strive to have the courage to fight to the finish, never give up, and work to leave our mark in whatever we may try and achieve.

With a father like Frank Conaway, Sr. and a brother like Frank Conaway, Jr. Belinda's insanity does not remotely surprise me.

Can we all vow to make sure she gets kicked out of office?

Firebomb victim Mrs. Dawson doesn't rate a statue, but deceased equine Barbaro does ??
