Anna D. points out that despite our recent influx in murders, we're still killing each other much less frequently than we were last year at this time. She also provided ID's for four of the recent murder victims.

Turns out the 18-year-old who reportedly shot his mother actually shot his mother's friend. Alleged rotten teen Montreal Proctor, 18, is now in the city jail being charged with three counts of attempted first-degree murder.

about the case of poor poor Carlos...i think their should be some penalty for gas stations that do not use their survellance cameras! its a waste of time for cops that want to find a killer or someone who sticks up the joint! if you have cameras then they MUST be working during the hours of operation and all around the clock in some cases...it would help solve crime at the gas stations, and it would help bring closure to Carlos' widow..i just dont think its right for the gas station to say "oh we didnt have our cameras recording when he was stabbed to death sorry about that and good luck catching the brutal murderer who is roaming the area"
