We Need Bullet Control

The woman shot and killed on Gough Street Sunday [4/5] was Doreatha Wright, 42, possibly the victim of mistaken identity

Northeast Baltimore murder victim is identified: "Timothy Hebron, of the 4200 block of Welbourne Road, was shot about 1 a.m. [4/4] as he got out of a car to toss out trash, one block north of the Northwood shopping plaza"

"A 19-year-old man is in critical condition Tuesday after he was stabbed Monday [4/6] night" in Washington Village

"Baltimore police said Sunday that they were investigating the shooting of a man late Friday in Fells Point. The adult man, whose name and age were not released, was found lying on the pavement in the 1600 block of Lancaster St. shortly before midnight Friday [4/3]."

Confused? this info-dense paragraph puts straight the details of week's victims, as does the Spotcrime shooting map covering 4/1 to 4/7

The Friday night shooting in Fells Point wasn't a real shooting, or at least no one was actually hit by any bullets. There was some hoodlumery and some shots were fired, but the guy who they initially reported was shot actually tripped while running and whacked his head on the cobblestones.
