Police and prosecutors disagree on the utility of crime cameras. How about saving $ by cutting off the blue lights? They've got to be thoroughly annoying (and humiliating) to people who have to live next to them. Wonder if any residents or homeowners have asked the city to remove the lights from their property sight lines?

Please do not ascribe the crime to the restaurant or its owners, unless you are aware of a conduct issue. The only reason I know of why it has had two shooting incidents is because its about the only place open at that time in Better Waverly.

Better Waverly has a lot of violent criminals and anywhere they might go in the wee hours is going to get hot.

The solution is to incarcerate them and get them off the streets.

The police did modify the blue-light cameras in the part of Fells Point I used to live in. When they were first installed, the blue lights would flash annoyingly. A few weeks later, most were switched to constant, and the ones on Ann street were turned off. I always assumed this was due to resident complaints.
