Gamble family still waiting

The family of Sean Gamble, who was killed outside of Select Lounge in January by police, gathered in front of City Hall this weekend because they've yet to get a single phone call from any city official.

Northeast needs serious help. It's only a matter of time before the middle class moves 1 mile up the road to Baltimore County. One way the police can help reduce crime is to give people traffic violations all day long. Too much tint on the window = ticket, speeding = ticket, no blinker = ticket. The county cops routinely have 2 to 3 cars pulled over at the city line on Loch Raven Blvd. and they end up nabbing people for all sorts of other violations - drugs, guns, warrants. Cops in NE should mimic the tactics of their counter parts in the county.

From the Colbert Report:

"Relations with Pakistan could get rough. They had to know bin Laden was there. His million-dollar compound was less than 40 miles from Pakistan's capital. That's like escaping Washington D.C. by hiding out in Baltimore. Except that Abbottabad is much less dangerous than Baltimore."

The funny/sad thing is that he's probably right.
