November 26

Along with two armed robberies, the Sun's Police Blotter reports that a 79-year-old man was arrested for attempted murder.

Police are still puzzled by those pesky light pole thieves. And thanks to John for pointing out that our missing light poles are now receiving national coverage on CNN.

Civil disobedience is alive and well, unless you try it at the mall.

On the blotter on Liberty Heights,
a teenager's experience:

The suspect pulled out a black handgun and stole the 18-year-old's coat, boots, Sprint cellphone and portable DVD player

In arctic cold we take a kid's jacket and shoes??? Surely there's an appropriate cage in the Zoo for these animals.

OK, so Mr. O'Malley's gonna pay $500,000 to an image consultant for a new slogan. How about I save him some dough:

Baltimore: the city that steals.

Amen to that... maybe we should start stealing common sense and education from other cities, put our city's stealing skills to good use. Does anything good ever happen here. This city sometimes seems like "The city that stole hope" Tell them to have the image consultant put up a sign that says" Baltimore:

B: Bad
A: Apathetic
L: Lackadaisical
T: Trash-ridden
I: Ignorant
M: Miseducated
O: Opressed
R: Robbing
E: Everything Bad

Baltimore: The City That Needs

Put it in bold letters over the city
