October 23 - bedtime!

Zukael Stephens, 29, was charged Friday with the murder of Marcus Rogers of Mt. Vernon!
Rogers, a drag queen who frequented the Club Bunns, at was beaten at 1010 St. Paul St. in Mount Vernon and his apartment was set on fire Oct. 1.
Police are still looking for Rogers' vehicle, a black 1998 Mercedes-Benz station wagon, surely one of the lovliest passenger-cars of the decade past; MD tag 25107CA. If you see it call homicide - 410-396-2100.

♥I-Team: Police threatened with being fired for not making arrest and "citizen contact" quotas.
That is some severely. messed. up. shit.
Way to claw memorandi, I-Babes!

Police found two decomposed un'Id'd bodies in Abderdeen, Harford County. Work of serial killer? The government?
The details were interesting... especially that last one:
Found on the victim:

  • Gray, Limited Too brand simulated leather jacket, size XXL

  • Dark, Covington blue jeans, size 6

  • Black athletic shoes with Velcro straps, size 7.5, marked "Nancy" with Athletic Works logo

  • One gold colored ring with clear stones on the front and chevrons on the side with a Band-Aid wrapped around the band

  • One Timex Indiglo watch with a navy blue face, a light blue compass dial and a blue weave Velcro wristband

  • One silver metal ring marked "India"

  • possibly a set of dentures

any small-bodied toothless females missing? Did the body have teeth?

You gotta love the moral courage of BCPD. They've completely caved into the quota without so much as a peep.

It makes you wonder how many times they've framed suspects to keep their jobs.

So, how many times have I reiterated that this police department operates in extremely poor faith and continues to use quotas which are denied, make false arrests which are denied, and destroy protected documents (which is denied)?

It needs to be placed under external supervision by the State witrh FBI oversight.

Like,... NOW.

Amazing but not surprizing. What will it take for something to be done about this rogue mayor and his runaway police department?

Question: what the hell do you do in terms of insulating the investigation when the principal culprit is the Governor-elect and the Attorney General is his friggin' father-in-law ???

Seems to me it's got to be the FBI.

A qtota is a quota is a quota. I can't understand how setting the bar at 150 above or below would benefit the public. Three bad evaluation based on a quota system menas involuntary transfer or dismissal. What if you have no crime on your post? What if you work Roland Park as compared to say East Baltimore. Isn't crime prevention and post integrity part of the program?

John Galt said...

Pardon me, I'm from Baltimore. What means this word 'integrity' ??

Is that, like, when a police Commissioner swears in his testimony that there are no quotas ??

The data I saw from the "I-team" did not represent a "quota."

Some dumbass probably saw it and leaked it to the news as "proof".

Well, its not proof. It is simply a fragment of data that any manager would be interested in collecting. Comparing measures of police units to each other and to an average and looking at statistical distributions does not constitute a quota.

John Galt said...

Well, in fairness, the 'dumbass' was told that he could be discharged for failing to make a certain number.

Quota.

I've never voted for a Republican in my life, but I think that Bob Ehrlich is getting my support in November. Martin O'Malley is a lying sleazeball who will never get my vote.

I've never voted for a Republican either, but I'm seriously considering voting for Ehrilch as well.

I almost wish BC had more than one viable party so there could be some real accountability. The political machine in Baltimore is great for a small group of individuals in town looking to move up the political ladder, but it is detrimental to the city's progress as a whole.

those decomposed bodies in harford county aren't news at all. i don't understand why that story got run again today considering it happened (and was extensively reported) over a month ago, there have been no new developments, and they don't even need the public's help catching the killer since they have a guy in custody who they have been hinting for months is their man, even if they won't come out and explicitly say it yet.
