April 7

The body of missing Pikesville man Ryan Spencer was found at TownMall in Westminster, but police aren't saying whether or not it was a suicide.

A man was shot in the 3100 block of McElderry St. after he and his gunfighter pal refused to drop their weapons when the cops told them to play nice.

In the Blotter, a boyfriend got shot in the face by an ex-boyfriend, a 15-year-old boy ran away when shots were fired on N. Ellwood St. before realizing he'd been shot, and a man in White Marsh got his stab on with a steak knife.

A man was stabbed on a Pikesville playground on Sunday morning. (The same article covers some more Bel Air arson.)

The woman who locked herself in her trunk and claimed she was abducted was trying to cover the fact that she's the victim of domestic abuse. Police aren't charging her for the false report, and the domestic assault is being investigated.

More trouble on the 27, this time from assholes outside the bus.

The powers-that-be say that homicides are dropping because "police and prosecutors work together to identify possible violent offenders -- such as probationers or registered gun offenders -- and attempt to arrest them for whatever they can." The powerless-that-be say it's the same shit, different day.

Crack good. Heroin better.

Thanks to the increasing size of my man-boobs, I'm totally going to try this when I have jury duty in a few weeks. (I'm kidding about trying to get out of jury duty. Not about the man-boobs, though.)

I was reading the article concerning the drop in crime, and how some residents still dont feel safe at night...like i mentioned last week, i live near w lexington and n fulton..so far i have not been out and about at night (b/c i really have no where to go in that area at 1am but anyways..btw, "out and about" in my location at night just sounds odd!)..but im kinda of curious of the "underworld" that comes out at night in my neigherhood...its kind of like Resident Evil, where you have the roaming zombies and monsters ..except the walls dont have blood on them they have graffiti written by bloods...i kinda want to smack a couple of those kids around...i just dont want my home to get hit with molotov cocktails...

i think this blog is a bit theraputic for me lol..its really the only place where i can speak to other baltimore city residents about the problems we face everyday...for instance, yesterday afternoon im driving home, nice breeze coming through my window, passing through the Harlem av. intersection, i look around me at what seems to be a relatively active area..a whole lot of people around, and as im driving i think..are these the guys that will shoot me down for a couple bucks if i dont react fast enough or do the "right thing"? its a sickening feeling, not really scary, but sickening..im not one to fear another human, just what he can do and what i cant prevent...why cant i walk outside without being in danger of an armed robbery (or a severe beating)? why can some guy do what he feels like while i play just another victim? what do you tell the cops? oh some black kid with braids beat my ass and cut me?! (its really not a race issue, just a reality issue) its not right...i know i keep bringing up the whole concealed firearm issue..but let me pose a question..whats worse..a casket, or a misdemeaner...last i heard carrying a registered firearm is a misdemeaner...maximum 3 years, but i dont see any law abiding citizen with no priors doing any jail time..whats the alternative???????? be afraid to walk into your own damn corner store? victimized at will? thats bullshit...all im saying is that i dont want to end up on this crime blog as a victim...i pay my taxes and i should be able to walk outside my home...my girl gotta small ass dog i cant even walk him around my block...freekin pisses me off...they can hurt me, i cant hurt them, they can carry guns, we cant, i cant look at them they can stare at me...wtf?! i guess this wouldnt be the best time to watch Taxi Driver. *sorry for the long post*

@Bmore

Isn't there a Guardian Angels chapter forming in W. Baltimore? I'm not a 100% fan of GA, but they can absolutely do some good in the right time and place. Baltimore under Bealefeld just might be the right time and place.
