Trooper fired after getting drunk, kidnapping man, subjecting him to white-knuckle ride in Towson

Three gun-toting felons got some Rod time, including Jermaine Bell, accused of paying $45k for the murders of three harewin-trade rivals (and the DOJ is now publishing press releases as PDFs, how annoying)

Media blabber: Tim Franklin, editor and VP of The Sun, has jumped ship. His successor will be the guy who was the mastermind behind the launch of that wildly popular paragon of intellectual progress, "b." And only good can come of that.

A friend of mine was awoken to the sound of 5 gun shots outside her house last night and looked outside to see a dead guy on the street. The crazy part is this was in Canton near Fait and Bouldin!! No surprise here, but I can't find anything in the news about it.

Police said a 22-year-old woman was shot and killed in Canton last night, one of two overnight slayings in Baltimore.

The woman, who police did not identify, was found about 9:30 p.m. in the 800 block of S. Bouldin St. suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the head.

Witnesses reported hearing the shots and saw a dark-colored vehicle leave the scene traveling south on Bouldin Street. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

A man was also killed last night in East Baltimore, less than two hours after he was shot near his home, police said.
