...just a thought, before you start laying off cops maybe the city should cut back trips to luxury hotels.

WTF, so if the city didn't pay for it, who cares if they can't say who did? That's not Pratt's business. That story is shrouded in so much unfair skeptism and implications. If she wants to blow her money or someone else's on a luxury hotel, I don't give a flying you-know-what as long as it's not my taxpayer money.

as an adendum, if it turns out they did spend taxpayer money and lied to the reporter, then great job. But until then, there's nothing to see here.
