Baby, daddy

So caught up in the story of Delma Leroy "Lee" Barnes, a 35-year-old grandfather run down by two women and possibly a baby (maybe a grocery bag? Maybe a backpack worn on the front? No, that. is. a. baby. With feet!) in a Mazda, I almost forgot to note that a 4th Kevin Clash accuser has appeared on the scene, with a familiar story, lawsuit. Well, compared to those Mazda-driving murderous bitches, fellating a teenager while he calls you "dad" isn't so bad, right? ... I'll bet she formula feeds. I hope that baby was properly restrained in a rear-facing seat.

Not so fast on the judgment. If the alleged murderess of Delma Barnes had left her baby alone in the car while she scouted her victim and crime scene we'd be verbally tearing her to pieces. Instead, she did the responsible thing and wore baby. For all we know, the alleged murderess may have very well placed baby in a government-approved properly installed car seat while she ran over Mr. Barnes with her vehicle.

As they say, some moms are willing to kill to protect their children,..... and as we learn here, other moms will protect their children while they kill. Mama grizzlies at work. Sarah Palin would be so proud.

It is puzzling, I mean, you can't really plan to run someone over in the street, you can only see them step in front of your bumper and decide to speed up. Unless there was some kind of backstory that had them out of the car ...

I've learned something from my work with Detroit. Detroiters has an obsessions with cars. Detroit also has a large number of homicides. You'd be amazed at the number of homicides in Detroit that happen at gas stations. It is also not unusual for a Detroiter to run somebody they don't like over with their car.

People who are involved in drug distribution and sales like to have meetings at gas stations, maybe because they are busy and well-lit, gives the appearance of safety. Considering that Mr. Barnes had numerous previous drug charges, as well as several court interactions that involved women, I would not be surprised if Mr. Barnes knew these female vehicular homiciders.

I wouldn't be surprised if there was a little pre-planning involved on this one.

Odd that this gas station had a video camera trained to capture people standing in front of it, but not any license plates.
