As a law-abiding citizen who was subjected to an unlawful search by the BPD, I wouldn't doubt the Chantilly couple's story for a second. They should forget about filing a complaint with the city- they'll just get a standard reply stating "We have found no evidence of misconduct" (as I did). Maybe when somebody wins a multi-million lawsuit against the BPD, we will finally see wholesale changes throughout the department (but I'm not holding my breath).

The McPaper's list of howlingly bad offenses against the English language grows by one more sentence:

"When Llara Brook, 20, and her boyfriend, Josh Kelly, 22, traveled from Chantilly, Va., to Baltimore to see an Orioles game Saturday, they didn’t expect to end up in jail and get robbed."

Let's take it as a given that they hire high school dropouts as their reporters... do their copy editors even SPEAK English?

How intolerant!

You should be more sensitive to the indigenous speakers of gibberish as a primary language. They have rights too.

How rude. Haven't you learned anything about multiculturalism?

Gibberophiles unite!

I don't get it. What's wrong with that sentence? "As" would have been better than "when" ... I also just watched 'Dateline' and don't know what sex acts girls can perform on cats involving Cool Whip and a naked Indian man, so maybe I'm just not on it today.

I think it's probably best not to analyze the cat thing too much... some things are better left a mystery. Man, that really bothered me. As if it wasn't enough that the guy was naked with cool whip to see a kid, but he had to bring the CAT into it??? I really like these Dateline specials... I think they should keep running them until everybody is caught!
