No, those six pointed stars are likely a sign of Gangster Disciples, a Chicago based gang that has chapters all over the Midwest and is starting to spread across the country. I live in Minneapolis and the bad parts of town (especially Northside) are full of six pointed stars sourrounded by "G" and "D".

I'm not trying to say the guy IS a pig..only that when a cop does something like this, and the rest of the boys in blue drag their feet to identify and charge him...then it should be no surprise to them that large portions of the civilian population distrust and even revile them.
