Sorry to her about Russert and I agree that Keith Olberman would have been a better choice for the touch of the Reaper's boney hand, at least Hannity and O'Reilly don't pretend to be unbais journalist.
As for R Kelly, I would probably would have gone with a "Not Guilty" if I was on the jury. When the "victim" claims not to be the the victim, I would be hard press to put the accused in prison.
O'Reilly doesn't pretend to be unbiased??? I guess you never heard about how he used to claim that he was a political independent until a reporter found out that he was registered as a Republican in New York.
Besides, how can you respect a pussy like Bill-O who sends one his minions (interns) to ambush his political opponents on camera during public events? It's not even original- he stole the idea from Howard Stern and Stuttering John.
I wish no one harm or ill will. The problem with the media is that they make news and not report it. Including men like Tim Russert, Olberman and O'Reilly. Journalism is dead !
I'm with you on that, yeti... I'm sad about Tim Russert, of course, but CNN covered his death for hours at the expense of every other story. Channel 11 evening news spent more time on him than all the other local news stories combined (not counting sports or weather). Probably more coverage than Sarkozy or Putin would get if they knocked off! (But slightly less than Heath Ledger.)
What really makes me gag is when the local news covers a reporter having a baby. "And our own Jennifer Lipschitz had some special breaking news today, little Dakkota Cayleigh Lipschitz was born ..." Networks want you to feel like their news teams are "part of the family." No thanks!
Who was it, Denise Koch maybe, who was in an ad with her child, all taking it to the zoo and shit. "Being a mother has really changed my perspective on the news..." So sexist and demeaning for everyone involved.
Ah yes, there is nobody more insufferable on local news (not counting Marty Bass) than holier-than-thou Denise Koch. Sometimes, I think Al Sanders was lucky to have left this earth too soon. He went from anchoring with the late, great Jerry Turner to sharing a newscast with a Kathie Lee Gifford wannabe who gushed incessantly about her twin children.
Michelle "only terrorists wear scarves" Malkin would have been my choice, had I been forced to offer up a talking head to the Grim Reaper. She was on camera when Fox ran the appalling "Obama's Baby Mama" graphic.
I agree that the Russert story was over-covered. The media types like to climb up their own assholes sometimes.

Didn't the Chapelle Show predict the not guilty verdict about five years ago?

I like Marty Bass, he has a big personality and a Baltimore accent; everyone else seems like they were incubated in some Midwestern test tube.

Marty Bass isn't even from Baltimore, he's from Ohio... which proves what a fake he is.
I should clarify- he's a fake because he's pretending to have a Bawlmer accent, not because he's from Ohio.
