Unfortunately, the cost of babysitting Baltimore's prodigiously criminal population may well exceed the ability of the law-abiding tax base to pay for it. Hence, Baltimore is a nonviable city, unless you accept the concept of a rogue population center with municipally-sanctioned cover.
And it seems that the crime spree in Ponts' block continues this week, with hoodlums openly carrying around ladders to break in on University Parkway in Charles Village.
