The Baltimore Spectator reports the city's 46th homicide, Marty Williams Jr., 20-something. This is apparently the murder on Maisel St. the police Tweeted about.

Opening arguments begin today in the trial of Patrick Byers and his three fellow thugs. Apparently Stuart Simms has joined Byers' defense team. As if I needed another reason to dislike the guy.

Another floating body was pulled out of the harbor.

I saw them fishing this guy out by the Living Classrooms pier yesterday afternoon. It took them at least a couple of hours to haul him out, I guess they were worried the body would fall apart if they weren't careful. Yuck.

Whoops, I made a mistake in my first post. Apparently two of Byers' co-defendants have reached plea deals, so only Frank Goodman will be going on trial with him.
