In Columbia, 20-year-old Eric McGhee was found lying face-down, beaten and stabbed to death.

In Pittsburgh, Andre Staton, 38, of Baltimore, was ordered to stand trial for murder after an 11-year-old testified watching him stab 26-year-old Beverly K. Yohn to death.
