The biggest difference between here and China is when an American reporter sites problems in the legal system the reporter is rewarded with journalistic honors and the public demands changes from the government (the elected body, more ofen than not, makes the necessary changes). In communist China that same reporter is awarded with censure, is arrested, beaten, their family threaten and then the Chinese government makes the report an official communist state secret.
