Tuesday Morning

After the fatal shooting, the Linden Bar and Liquors is back to business as usual.

A woman who served as assistant manager of the Family Dollar in Mount Claire was found slain there in what authorities believe was the end result of a failed robbery.

A burning body was found in a burning car on Park Heights Avenue last night.

Plenty of gunshot victims, robberies, attempts to burgle, and destruction of property in the Blotter.

Mia Redrick continues the debate on child curfews in Baltimore.

Commissioner Bealefield gets to stay commissioner, as the City Council approved his contract and gets $142,000 per year, with benefits.

Helpful hint: If officers want to take you, don't bite them, because then you'll be charged with resisting arrest and assault.

But J-Kwiz told me that weed was supposed to make you hungry, not kill you...

Hey, first ever actual use of the UMB Campus Alerts this morning. I'm twisted but I will think its funny if it ends up being a package of grandma's cookies or some such.

It's not grandma's cookies. I work in the dept. that administrates the BioPark. Not reason to evacuate the campus, but no snickerdoodles in that package either.

Anyone else notice that the guy shot in the liquor store was named Omar? I think life is imitating art! It brought back good memories of watching The Wire.

lol Cameron I was about to say the same thing. His name was Omar and he was shot in the head while in line at the liquor store.

yo, cameron and shellz, that's friggin hilarious! I bet Omar's family were cracking up at the coincidence when they had to go ID the body! I think you two should go to his funeral and point out the funny coincidence to the mourners! Ha ha ha!

In regards to the Family Dollar Store murder...
"I'm pretty upset," said Michele Wroten, who said she wanted to buy kitty litter at the store. "Everyone's been waiting for Family Dollar to open and it just didn't."

Um, the assistant manager is lying in a pool of her own blood and you're upset that you can't buy kitty litter??? Great quote Anne!
