This is a tragic story, however I saw a certain irony in this comment:

"Warren Brown said he had to deliver the news to Donna Brown's 10-year-old son -- a boy he says he helped raise almost from birth. "It's something I've never had do do before, and something I never want to be a part of again," he said this afternoon."

Gee, have you ever imagined how the families of the victims of the scumbags you defend feel? Karma's a bitch you soulless motherfucker.

ppatin, why do you hate America so much... your comment suggests there shouldn't be defense attorneys (or at least, defense attorneys shouldn't represent "guilty" people).

Go back to Saudi Arabia or whatever justiceless, uncivil place you came from... this here is America, and a person deserves a fair trial, regardless of their culpability.

It's one thing to make sure a person's rights are protected, it's another to use slimy tactics such as delaying trials for months and months in order to further traumatize a victim's family and make them more amenable to a plea bargain. That's the sort of crap that Warren Brown pulls.

Whatever you may think of Mr. Brown, that little boy certainly does not deserve any such "karma"

I said it's tragic, and I feel terrible for the victim and her son. I feel no sympathy at all for Warren Brown.

ppatin, you don't know what his "tactics" are.. you're talking out your ass.

It would be malpractice for Mr. Brown not to use any and all legal tactics available to him to defend his client.

If you have a problem with postponements, you should criticize the judge presiding over the case, not the defense attorney.

Just face it, you'd prefer a criminal justice system more like the one in Saudi Arabia.

Your desire for such a state of affairs is apparent from your many asinine posts.

As someone who knew both Ms. Brown and her family, it is extremely heartbreaking to read such hateful and malicious comments. The article is not about Mr. Brown, but the fact that a father had to tell his son about the death of his mother. Please direct negative comments about Ms. Brown or Mr. Brown elsewhere, on another platform...this is not the place.

I grew up with Donna and her sisters in the Northwest community of Pimlico. We went to elementary and middle school together. She was always the life of the party and I am sadden to hear about her death.
