Where's the journalism bailout?
"Doesn't America need the New York Times as much at it needs the Chevy Cobalt?"

The New York Times has not been a legitimate source of news since the early 70's.

Good riddance.

I am so wise said...

Mark Cuban is allegedly funding the activities of this site - http://bailoutsleuth.com/.

NYT lost my respect when they supressed the story of Bush's bogus wiretapping.

Having to bail-out the asshole bankers sure does suck, but free-flowing credit really is the foundation of our way of life. Maybe next time we won't just hand over the keys to the chicken coop to the wolves.

The car companies shouldn't get a red cent, though.

Maybe this is why corporate America is in the state that it is. They all assumed that the US Government aka the taxpayer would bail them out if/when things finally went awry from their horrific business practices.

If we keep bailing out businesses, businesses will continue to have bad business practices. Don't expect Wall Street, the auto industry, the credit industry, the mortgage industry to change.
