Regarding reshuffling the police districts...it's about time. There is one district that has very few murders and others that are overwhelmed.
What do you know, I was right about Donald Giblin being promoted to chief of homicide.
Out of curiosity, what exactly does the Violent Crimes Impact Division do?
Just being anal retentive, but Vicodin isn't quite the same thing as hydrocodone. It's a combination of hydrocodone and acetaminophen (the stuff that's in Tylenol.)
Violent Crimes Impact Divisio (VCID) is the former OCD. They are supposed to focus on areas with increased violent activity and look for drug activity as well as handgun crimes. Basically - they do "jump outs" all day and night. Once in a while they get lucky and actually jack up somebody that is wanted but udually they just make arrests that later go awya because of 4th amendment issues and bad stops.

Thanks. It sounds like we'd be better off if VCID was abolished and their manpower was used to beef up patrol.
That Rosapepe idiot finally did something...first thing he's had approaching a thought since he bought his way into the seat.
