Stephen Miles didn't give up ambulance chasing, he's just going back to practicing law on his own.

BTW, I couldn't believe that he had the nerve to run for Baltimore County State's Attorney back in 2006. What the hell does a shyster like that know about prosecuting criminals?

Guess you missed the preceeding sentence:

"Miles worked for the Baltimore City State’s Attorney’s office at the start of his career, then moved to criminal defense and, eventually, personal injury."
