I suppose it was only a matter of time before the city went for the cash-grab of speed cameras. I guess fraudulent parking tickets weren't bringing in enough revenue.

crybabies...Don't speed and you won't get a ticket. Baltimore city drivers ARE out of control.

I'd rather see more red light cameras. The blatant red light running in this city is insane.

I'm not necessarily opposed to speeding cameras, but after seeing how the city abuses parking tickets to bring in more revenue I can't help but wonder what they'll do with speed cameras...

I agree with ppatin. More red light cameras are what's needed. I can't believe how many people run red lights here and how late those lights are run.

Besides installing more red light cameras, the city needs to synchronize their network of traffic signals and put in a 2 second delay in between the time one signal turns red and the other turns green. If you ever travel northbound on Ellwood Ave and see the number of cars that run the red light on Eastern Ave, you'll know what I mean.

I hope the city bothers to put up speed limit signs so we know how fast is too fast.

I watched a creative driver run multiple red lights on MLK. The trick is first come to a complete stop at the red light, look both ways and then really slowly drive through the red light. It's the new way to be a badass.

I managed to transfer the locations of the proposed speed cameras to a waypoint gpx file, so if you can import waypoints into your vehicle GPS you should be able to set the alarm and Microsoft Annie can tell you to slow down.

Not all of the cameras are on there.
6000 Block of Hillen Rd. S/B ...These cameras are ruining my life. I have a misfiring problem I need to fix. I learned how to drive stick on my car. Its been a couple of months but I still fuck up a lot. With my car kicking up speed when shifting uncontrollably, it just makes it difficult as hell to avoid driving over speed limits. esp up hills. It wont make it unless I shift into fourth. So sad. Im really disgusted with how baltimore is treating us
