Officer Braskich should have understood that it was only a couple of "city youths" who were making a mistake. Then he should have given them a voucher to the local youth center and sent them on their way.

If we could somehow videotape and audio record every single police interaction there would be no confusion and everyone would shut up.

Oh those poor unfortunate "city youths" who make "mistakes" by threatening innocent people with guns and violence.
No matter how young they are, once they pick up a gun and threaten others with it, they are no longer just victims of bad circumstances, as they become the ones responsible for victimizing others. Stop blaming the police when they get what they deserve! (DL)

Mel,
I assumed you were, but I am just aggravated having read so many of the bleeding hearts who feel "so sorry" for the poor misunderstood victimizers, as if having a bad upbringing justifies their behavior. Expecting everyone else to make up for their unfair treatment ends up further victimizing the innocent. If I were the guy working in the store, I would want an officer like Braskich watching out for me! Who wouldn't?
