Despite O'Malley's best attempts, capital punishment is not completely dead in Maryland. Wicomico County will seek the death penalty against Thomas Leggs Jr. for the murder of 11-year old Sarah Foxwell. The Sun's headline seems inaccurate since the decision to seek the DP is made by the State's Attorney, not the Sheriff. I'm glad that people on the Eastern Shore still understand the meaning of justice though.

gee, every time i don't go down a one-way street and don't refuse to stop after hitting parked cars, i end up not getting into scuffles with the police. but then, i guess i'm not a "pillar of the community"...

Depends upon what "community" you come from.
