Don't wait for a snowplow

If you live on a side street, the city says you're sol.

Quit your bitching and start shoveling, people. Either that or learn to take the bus.

I walked up Roland Avenue for about 15 minutes and saw it get re-ploughed twice.

I had my car parked on a side street Friday morning, thankfully I didn't have work and was able to move it onto St. Paul. Now my car is in its dug out little snow fortress :)

Apparently Harford Road is a "side street," because we have yet to see a plow or salt truck up in Hamilton ... Funny, because there are signs that say this is our "Evacuation Route"!

St. Paul street is in ok shape (one lane clear instead of the usual two) but all of the side streets in Charles Village are unplowed. It appears that someone stole my snow shovel, which means I need to get a new one so that I can dig a path to my basement and do some laundry.

Is it black and did you leave it in the middle of the street? If so, it is in my yard.
