If you check the case search, Shroyal Moore, the Aunt who raised Donatello Fenner, has gone after 4 people to pay child support on 3 kids, none of whom was Donatello. Auntie has made a lucrative of a business out of child support payments. With a house full of kids that may or may not have been hers, I wonder how much time for oversight over young Donatello who was either a gang leader according to the police or angel who just happened to lose his ankle monitor according to Auntie. Either way we will never know, since he is dead in an alley.

Peter Herman should learn to do his homework before tapping on his keyboard.

We know Fenner's past and the past of his family. There's been a lot written about his criminal involvement and we wanted to give family a chance to defend him. As readers you can take it or leave it but we're always going to try to provide both sides.

Cham - just because someone has a child support case doesn't make them a bad parent. I would argue the opposite.
As for this story, they keep stating the murder on 25th and Howard was in Remington, but the murder was on the East side of the street, out front of the Rendezvous Lounge which is Chaz Village.

I think the story did a very good job of demonstrating just how very warped the perceptions of those in the inner-city subculture can be.

He was a good boy; he just assaults police and used a gun!

He never had a chance. Probably never went for a job, either.

The police were always arresting him. Yeah, and the court convicted him, too, which kinda justifies the attention.

He wasn't really in a gang. Nah, it's a boy's choir, called Black Gorilla Family. Save the gorillas, right?

This is why Barclay & Harwood are so unredeemable; the mothers even buy into the criminal lifestyle. And they are supposed to be witnesses & jurors?

He's a good boy.

Another HazMat incident at the Mitchell Courthouse today.

Dopple, I was at the crime scene and it was on the southwest side of the intersection at N. Howard and W 25th, with part of the crime scene extending into the Anderson Automotive lot. They closed off the streets a block away in every direction, which may be leading to the perception that it was elsewhere...

Dopple---Why did you say you are so glad to be leaving Remington? What makes it so stressful there? (Ok, I sorta know, but I thought I'd ask for your take).

BTW Sometimes the boundaries differentiating neighborhoods are ephemeral to us mere mortals and native Baltimorons, though the city has "officially recognized neighborhood boundaries". Then there are the boundaries of the Charles Village Benefits District, clearly within which this/these shootings have happened. So the neighborhood can validly be called Remington, "greater Charles Village", lower Charles Village, or whatever. Wonder which neighborhood association claims it?

When did filing child support become a crime I work to take care of my children always have my oldest will be 19yrs old on Monday never been in trouble with the law graduated from Calvert hall in June when you were case searching me what you did find was a criminal background what said about my nephew was very true you read about him off a paper I knew him I've never condone the wrong never said he was a angel I do believe my words were his past caught up with him stop speaking on things you clearly know nothing about as for my child support cases that has nothing to do with this if Iam raising someone else child why shouldn't they be helping support them
