I don;t know what to say about this. Crimes against children have always been horrific but now that I have a daughter I have a truly visceral reaction to this sort of mind-blowing violence and apathy.

And to the courts: "Guglielmi said the suspect has violated the terms of his probation three times in recent years. He was arrested each time, but judges continued his probation with no additional prison time, the spokesman said."
