over and over these child abusers always have in common-- besides a long rap sheet full of multiple missed opportunities to put them away -- a knack for finding parents that will entrust their childcare to them. It just boggles the mind-- leaving your four kids with a convicted felon-- wtf?!
... love how casual "baby's father" is in that interview: "either the police are gonna get him or I'm gonna get him."
.. if you're also trying to remember the name of the mom who left her son with a child molester and was successfully convicted of reckless endangerment, that would be Shanda Harris.
MJB, have you ever spoken to a person who has been convicted of a violent crime? I know a few, according to them the police falsely accused them, they were wrongfully convicted, the judge had a hard-on for them, the jury were a bunch of idiots and couldn't see the truth. Couple that with some free child care, and a frazzled single parent will take the deal.
After the fact, all parents will scream "They didn't know" and they are victims. That is so not true, I don't know a single soul, including the homeless, that aren't active users of the judiciary case search. It's turned into everyone's favorite hobby. People know, they know all.
