According to one of the comment's on the Sun's article about Karla Porter the lawyer who's representing her is mainly a personal injury attorney. A quick Google search seems to confirm that. What the hell is someone like that doing representing a defendant in a capital case?
I wasn't pro or anti Bernstein, but if he wants to set up a database to allow the unwashed masses to track case then he's definitely starting to grow on me. I would like a time frame on when that is going to happen.
And, yes, he should be focusing on violent criminals as opposed to petty criminals. Punishing us loiterers who like to enjoy the sunshine while lollying on a corner leaves many of us deficient in Vitamin D.
