Hezikah Wilson had no criminal record, so it sounds like the poor guy was really just taking his dog for a walk. The neighborhood he was shot in also isn't particularly bad to my knowledge.
It's a very quiet and beautiful area.
Maybe his dog pooped on someone else's lawn, and they didn't like it too much.
Not a good way to start the year.
Posting at 3:30 am east Baltimore Greektown. What's up with the police helicopter for the last half hour? Any news? Was it our neighborhood or an I-95 issue? Thanks!
Nothing good comes from an involvement with a Papillon.
Single Carrot can read all the names they want but 223 names, or when they find the missing girl 224, it isn't going to do anyone any good or bad. Now if someone bothered a year later to analyze the data from the 238 from 2009 and find out WHY 49% of them were murdered we might have some data that is worth reading and/or discussing. But that will never happen because it is so much easier to blame the "drugs" OR, my other favorite, "race".
Hi Peg, we get that question a lot-- why was this street cordoned off/ the ghetto bird in flight/ a passel of police cars barreling down the street w/sirens? Most of the time we never find out. One thing you can try if you have one a them newfangled smartphones is to download a police scanner app, I have one for the iPhone called "Police Radio" that covers Baltimore (though I am not sure what district(s), I turned it on now to check it out and it sounds like it may just be central and eastern).
