Should you pay for the Sun?

If you're still on the fence, reading this may change your mind.
Ps. James O'Shea, author of "Deal from Hell," will be speaking tomorrow at Hopkins.
.. could a news cooperative work in Baltimore (or anywhere)?

hey, just as a heads up, you can get around the Sun paywall by going into "incognito" mode in your browser. For safari its called private browsing.

You can also get around it simply by hitting "stop" right after you close out the paywall window. So much fail in how they implemented that.

Zell has a point. He can't run a business if journalists don't write about things that the citizens want to read.

Of course, he also won't make any money if product is so slanted that the public doesn't trust the journalism as objective.
