Some cojones: even after being told by a federal judge that police training policies and procedures are public documents,* the Police Department still refuses to release them to the public. .. as much as Aneglinos apparently despise the LAPD, it's actually considerably more transparent and responsive than Baltimore's police force, with a Board of Rights that includes officers and a civilian, has the power to recommend penalties and publishes a public record of its findings. We should all be so lucky.
Remember that Roland Park firefighter who was pimping on the side? (Or was he a pimp who did some firefighting on the side?) He and his partner were indicted. My favorite part of the story has to be the chalkboard with hooker rules and tips on it ("Just 10 minutes from downtown!"... "Ask about law enforcement!!)
Aiee-- 38-year-old Larry Horton was convicted for murdering 18-year-old Ryan Jackson with a hatchet in Towson.
Creepy: a Ray Rice impersonator set up a Facebook account to try to meet girls. Hopefully just for sex and not death by hatchet.

Before you get a ton of angry comments on your site, I might mention the homicide victims don't have violent criminal histories (definition of "violent" is on my site). Several of the victims do have criminal histories but lean toward drugs, theft and riding a bicycle on a sidewalk.

Regarding the Royal Farms robbers...
I'm wondering if they're not the same guys who held up that man in Medfield. Comparing the news stories the timeline of events as related in the first Patch articles seems right. But Patch is a little vague about the time of the 7-11 robbery in the first article though, listing it as "After 10PM", and the second which lists all the Royal Farms robberies puts it at 10:56 which wouldn't fit with the Medfield robbery at 10:50.
But if the 7-11 was robbed just after 10PM then it might have been the same two who robbed the guy in Medfield. The police ask him to identify those two?
hey Cham, homicide victims may not have violent histories of being CONVICTED...a lot of their violent crimes secure them from testimony from victims out of fear..and if u have a drug history,u have a violent history because of what it takes to b out there hustlin'.Cham,u been on the internet w these baltimore folks too long b-s'n them by using political correctness and the " we kno somethin u don't about us and u better not act like u do,if u do" thing too long like somebody outside our community isnt ALLOWED to b right about us when we're wrong....thts holding us back as much as anything else..so just because a dude who's in the game doesnt have a violent CONVICTION,dont act like u dont know what he doin out here when he sellin drugs,homey...keep that S real!
