Why don't you people ever look beyond your noses. Sheila Dixon does not go to the bathroom without permission from her boss, Martin O'Malley. O'Malley controls the Bd of Estimates--- all city contracts. O'Malley is in charge of the city towing lot. I do not like Dixon. But, I'm tired of you folks dumping on her while ignoring the greater menace, O'Malley. Why not ask O'Malley why he's allowing this to occur, and why he is not investigating or firing someone?

dc, I'm talking to you,and your core circle of bloggers. You, in particular. True, hocojoe, No'Malley is complained about a lot here. But, there is a disconnect between complaining about the city's problems such as the fiasco at the city impound lot, and holding him fully accountable. Even with the Dixon mess, O'Malley controls what goes on there,not dixon. Complaining about his followers and appointees deflects attention away from the gravity of the damage he is doing. In any other dictatorship, we blame the dictator and only the dictator.

O'Malley knows all the corrupt lil' semi-contracts in City Hall. Doesn't mean he signed off on 'em. That's why she set them up below $5,000. at a time, but of course he knew. Of course he knew.
The real issue is that a vote for O'Malley for Governor is a vote for Dixon for Mayor. As that ol' song says.... "Ya can't have one without the ooooooo-other."
But it's not "an institute you can't disparage."
