Tian Zin Wang's killers deserve the death penalty, although in this town that'll never happen. Hopefully Jessamy's office will at least seek life w/o parole, although that's a fairly half-assed punishment.
Another shooting at the corner of Gough and Broadway?? What is going on in that area? I bet it has nothing to do with the projects located directly west of Broadway. Those are wonderful, law abiding, tax paying citizens living there who just go to work and tend to their families...right?
Yeah, at 6 PM no less. 200 S. Broadway isn't great, but it doesn't seem that awful. You are of course correct that the Perkins Homes are a festering abscess of crime and hoodlumery. There's a quote from an old episode of Homicide that always comes to mind when I drive by there. It's something along the lines of "The only way to police these projects is with napalm."
Stop Snitching strikes again.
Oooh, goody, the "War On Drugs" has worked so well that they want to outlaw another plant. Frikkin brilliant
That didn't last long. The Baltimore Examiner is going belly-up.
I'm generally opposed to the DP, but I'm admittedly at a loss for a reason Wang's killers shouldn't get it. Too effing stupid to live keeps coming to mind.
Can we send these convicted local killers to Afghanistan? It would get them off the streets here and they need more people over there; could solve two problems at once.
Afghanistan? To do what?
I'm sure some of our angry violent young men would find a home in Afghanistan, these are the kind of folks that Al Qaeda wishes to recruit. I'm not sure I would expect our convicted offenders to be much use to the American military if that is what you had in mind. That's a heck of an idea there, Christopher, keep em coming.
