"Last year the police charged nearly 55,000 people. Of these nearly 10,000 were declined by the prosecutor. A further 15,000 needed substantive changes. That means that in a signifcant number of cases the police were not doing their job properly when it came to charging suspects"

It's interesting to see that the Archdiocese of Wilmington will file for bankruptcy to avoid compensating sexual abuse victims, but in Maine the Catholic Church is willing to pass around a second collection plate to screw over gays.

The Nicole Sesker case shows that even having well-connected relatives doesn't guarantee you justice. Eight years in prison for murder? Pathetic.

Nicole Sesker was addicted to drugs and a prostitute. In our society that takes you down a notch in the citizen-concern arena.

Speaking of which, we're up to 10 bodies today out there in Ohio. How many more will they find today?

Here is some interesting reading regarding the lack of enthusiasm of the Cleavland police department in regards to those who try to report missing drug-addicted women.
