Dixon's lawyer$ have filed a motion for a new trial, alleging juror misconduct and insufficient evidence.

A case brought to jury in Baltimore must have significantly stronger evidence than nearly any other district before conviction. This was a slam-dunk. If it were any other city in any other state she would be in irons. We need a different political system in Baltimore. Any person with a small iota of self-respect would have resigned. It's not like the Republicans would take over the city if she removes herself.
