I did read the entire Fenton article, I started falling asleep on page 2. But a link to a far better article about Batts was provided by a disgruntled commenter here. Something to do with four Domestic Violence charges, a bunch of lobsters, a wife that doesn't pay her mortgage, and suspiciously altered police records.
We're getting a corrupt police commissioner to oversee a corrupt police force. The shenanigans are going to be out-of-this-world. I wonder how much the city is going to have to pay Batts to go away. (We'd better load up on popcorn and snacks, it's going to be a bumpy few months)
