Yet another armed robbery in Towson Town Center, this one with three guys and a knife in the parking garage behind the Cheesecake Factory. The most recent robbery was a man robbed by two guys with a knife in the mens' room near the food court, Malik Smith and Damon King were arrested and charged for that one.

Other TTC incidents: a guy shot in the hand at the Trader Joe's parking lot in 2012 after a riot at the Recher, teenage boys mugged next to Macy's, Rodney Pridget shot and killed in 2011, St. Paul's science teacher William Bassett shot and killed* in 2005 by a teenager named John Kennedy, a catfight caught on phone camera.

Police seized five guns and several dogs in the 1100 block of N. Carrollton, a 57-year-old man was arrested.

Carl Stokes blasted City Council members  who voted against a resolution that would have let his committee on the Council subpoena documents in the speed camera scandal (Kraft, Cole, Holton, Spector, Welsh and Reisinger, namely) calling the vote a "whitewash." Even Jack Young is mbarzd. Never heard City Council members so mad, actually. And OMG, SRB, NOT HELPING YOURSELF: she characterizes the scandal as "for ratings and for headlines" and adds, "they can use a subpoena, but all they have to do is ask to get the information." !!!

Four men were arrested for their alleged roles in the death of Russell Rowe, a man who was shot multiple times then crashed his car into a tree and died in Laurel.

Legg Mason agreed to pay $21 million to settle claims of neglecting to report losses (without admitting to any culpability, natch).

The House Judiciary Committee held hearings about the "Revenge Porn" bill. Meanwhile "revenge porn" kingpin and "professional life ruiner" Hunter Moore was arrested in California, though for hacking, not for posting non-consensual nudes online.

The weekend has been marked by a "rash in shootings" with a total of four people shot Saturday night, one fatally on Park Avenue,* and a cab driver was fatally shot on Maisel Ct. in south Baltimore* and his passenger was shot in the hip.

A 36-year-old man was shot and killed in East Baltimore on Friday afternoon* in the 1200 block of Luzerne Avenue.

A "gun-toting grinch" robbed a UPS driver of packages on Roland Avenue*

Two men, Charles Williams and Travone West, were convicted of fatally shooting Chantera Cook* in 2011 after they got into an argument with her boyfriend.

Remember the armed robbery in the men's room of Towson Town center? Two guys, Malik Smith and Damon King, were arrested because Smith dropped his own cell phone while making his escape.

Three more Silk Road moderators were arrested, Andrew "Inigo" Jones, Gary "Libertas" Davis and Peter Phillip "Samesamebutdifferent" Nash.

Local rabble-rouser Carol Ott is being sued by slumlord Stanley Rotchkind for $5,000 to repaint murals painted on his properties by the Wall Hunters project.

Man killed at Towson Town Center

A man was shot to death outside of Towson Town Center, Justin Fenton retweeted this photo (cropped by me). Wjz says it was inside the parking garage, the Sun says it was on the road on the East side of the Nordstrom's, Fenton says there are preliminary reports of a suspect being taken in for questioning.

Nakie Harris, 30, Richard Royal, 21, and Terrence Smith, 24, were found guilty of trying to kill Edna McAbier.

John Edward Kennedy Jr., 19, pled guilty to first-degree murder for shooting William A. Bassett at Towson Town Center.

Opening statements in the murder trial of David Ellerby, 32, of E. Lanvale Street began at 2 p.m. today before Judge John Glynn. The Baltimore City Grand Jury indicted Ellerby August 24, 2004 for first-degree murder and handgun violations. Court documents allege that on September 10, 2002, Ellerby shot and killed Reginald Tyler, 27, in the 300 block of E. Lafayette Avenue.

Damian Mitchell, 28, was fatally shot in the head in the Northeastern district.

Ameer Taylor, 31, was arrested and charged with the murder of Samuel Richardson (shown above, with his nephew).

More on the mysterious homicide of the Reverend Lorenzo Handy, whose body was found in Charles Village about a block from where Samuel Richardson was murdered in June.

The case of the firebombing of Edna McAbier's house goes to the jury today. Chilling revelation: the leader of the area Bloods initially wanted to shoot her in the head with a shotgun, but the gang dismissed the idea as not dramatic enough.

A 22-year-old man was carjacked and stabbed in Annapolis.

There was a second gun incident at Towson Town Center, and in spite of the mall having more than 200 security cameras, nothing was caught on tape.

A fourth police dog has now died under mysterious circumstances.
