Since this involves a bit of ranting on my part I'm putting it in the comments section rather than up as a blog posting.
Dan Rodricks is working hard to prove my point that criminal sympathizers who claim to support life sentences as an alternative to the death penalty don't actually support lifetime incarceration either. Rodricks is up to his usual whining and sniveling about how mean our legal system is to those poor thuggy-wuggies who do things like, oh I don't know, commit murder. I can't believe that with all of their cutbacks the Sun decided to keep a clown like Dan Rodricks employed.
